私は切手のコレクターではなく、純然たるユーザーです。
しかし好きが高じて集まり過ぎ2014年7月23日(ふみの日)に、このプロジェクトを発足しました。

日本の切手は1871年（明治4年）4月20日の初版発行～現在迄でその数約8,100種以上と言われています。

以来、国の世情を様々に映しながら、印刷技術の向上と共にその歴史を歩んでいます。
今や伝達手段として必要だった昔と違い、手紙・葉書・切手は嗜好品であり、贅沢品でもあると私は考えています。

そんな手紙や切手の良さを伝えようとするとどうしても
「メールにはない温かみ」や、懐古的なロマンティシズムに偏りがちで
純粋に存在としての『好き』をうまく表現出来ないのが私の現状です。
手紙も葉書も切手も、『小さな長方形の中に色んな要素が詰まっていて格好良い！』と思う明快な気持ちこそが
今回のプロジェクトの原点です。

私個人は、幼児教育、ファッションビジネス、日本文化普及に纏わる仕事に携わってきた経緯があります。
はじめは単純に切手の色柄が好きなだけだったのですが、切手の背景を知れば知る程、
それは日本を知ることなんだと感じるようになりました。

切手そのものの格好良さ、素敵さを感じるのと同時に、
この小さな存在は知識欲をちょうどよく満たしてもくれて、日々に張り合いと楽しみを感じさせてくれます。

文通や収集がメインではない、そんな切手遊び。
贅沢だからこそ、愛おしい。
希少だからこそ、大切な人への便りに使いたい。
なくても困らないものにこだわってこそ、格好良い。

自分に関わるものをトータルにスタイリング出来る人こそ、
切手や手紙の世界をさらに発見出来るのではないかと考えています。

幾多ある中から選んでコーディネートする切手と葉書の小さなストーリーを
ライフスタイルのどこかに取入れてもらえたら嬉しいです。

POSTORY

I am not just a "collector" of stamps.

I love stamps. I love postcards. And, I love to think about combination of these two.

Stamps and postcards always get my attention and I have had hundreds of them eventually.

Then I started to think I would like to share for those who love them as well.

So I have launched the project on July 23, 2014.

Here I talk a bit about stamps' history in Japan.

They say about 4,000 stamps have been issued since April 20,1871.

Postcards were in need as a means of communication.

Nowadays, I think they are considered to be luxury goods with development of other communication tools such as cell phones.

Currently I am promoting Japanese culture in fashion business.

At first I simply liked the color pattern of the stamp, but I get to see knowing stamps’ background is actually understanding more about Japan.
